Guess what? Petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan might be going down a lot, like 13RS less for petrol and 15Rs less for diesel per liter. Why? Well, the prices of oil around the world have gone down, like the cost of a barrel of petrol is now $94.95, which is $5.49 less, and diesel is $100.05, which dropped by $5.13.
Right now, in Pakistan, petrol costs Rs 281.34 per liter, and diesel is Rs 289.79. But, hold on—here's the exciting part. The government is thinking about deciding on the new prices on December 15, and if they say yes, the new prices will kick in from December 16.
So, why are the prices going down? It's because the global oil market is changing, and since oil prices worldwide are going down, we might pay less for petrol and diesel. The government has the big job of deciding if these lower prices should happen, and they're looking at how things are in the world oil market.
Let's keep our fingers crossed for December 15 and hope for good news. If all goes well, we could soon be paying less for our fuel in Pakistan!
