In Punjab, today's severe fog has led to significant disruptions in flight operations, particularly affecting the Lahore-Sialkot route. More than 8 flights have been canceled due to the challenging visibility conditions caused by the dense fog.

According to reports, over the past four days, more than 100 domestic and international flights could not operate smoothly due to persistent fog. An incoming flight from Dubai to Sialkot had to divert back to Dubai, while a departure from Muscat to Sialkot was redirected to Lahore. Furthermore, the arrival of flights from Dubai, Doha, and Muscat to Sialkot experienced extraordinary delays.

Specifically, three different flights from Dubai to Sialkot are running significantly behind schedule. Flights from Multan, Jeddah, Al-Qassim, Medina, Sharjah, and several others are also facing delays in arrival and departure.

In addition to the disruptions at the Lahore-Sialkot route, there are notable delays in flights from Sialkot to Dubai. Flights from Multan, Jeddah, Al-Qassim, Medina, and Sharjah to Sialkot are experiencing delays in their schedules.

According to aviation authorities, flights from Islamabad to Dammam, Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dubai, as well as flights from Karachi to Dubai, Medina, Colombo, and Jeddah, are also witnessing delays in departure and arrival.
