The Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium, located in Qiddiya City, 40 minutes from Riyadh, was unveiled by Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) in Saudi Arabia. Perched atop the 200-meter-tall Tuwaiq cliff, this state-of-the-art stadium is intended to accommodate major sporting, entertainment, and cultural events.
Being the first completely integrated stadium in the world, the Prince MBS Stadium stands out thanks to its special combination of an LED wall, field, and retractable roof.
The space can be quickly transformed into various "event modes" in a matter of hours thanks to this architectural innovation, which offers unmatched versatility. The LED wall acts as a dynamic portal to live event broadcasts, high-definition films, and captivating laser shows, promising guests an immersive and unique experience.
Beyond only being functional, the stadium's design aims to transform the usual stadium experience by providing, during the off-peak hours, breath-taking vistas over Qiddiya City.
Managing Director of QIC Abdullah bin Nasser Aldawood sees the location as a world-class sports, entertainment, and cultural hub that embodies the core values of Qiddiya's Power of Play concept.
It is projected that the stadium will lure tourists from all over the world and establish itself as a famous venue for important events.
