The management committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is excited to collaborate with Middlesex Cricket County on the T10 League, wherein they intend to evenly divide the expenses and earnings.
The specifics state that the league will hold both the men's and women's matches on the same day, therefore anyone purchasing a franchise for a men's club will also need to purchase a women's team.
PCB plans to play a couple of exhibition T10 matches against Middlesex Cricket County in Rawalpindi from January 24 to 26.
They are also preparing to debut the league's logo during these matches, so they should be able to proceed with the exhibition matches regardless of the government's response, according to sources from the PCB.
The reason for holding the men's and women's matches concurrently is to advance women's cricket. This will provide opportunities for female players to gain recognition and exposure to new talent. Franchises will be sold through an open bidding procedure, akin to that of the Premier League.
It is interesting to note that local and American businesspeople are interested in bidding, and current PSL team owners are anticipated to participate as well.
