The Indian volleyball team has been invited by the Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) to participate in the Asian Central Zone Volleyball Championship, which will be held in Pakistan in March of this year. Since India is a member of the central zone, the invitation has been confirmed by Chaudhary Mohammad Yaqoob, the chairman of the PVF.
The event will also feature participation from Iran, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Sri Lanka, and Kyrgyzstan. Additionally, there is a chance that India and Pakistan will increase the level of competition in the championship.
Because India is a member of the Central Zone, the PVF Chairman explained, "I invited them and asked India's representative personally to send his team. He replied that the federation's elections are going to be place in February and they are optimistic that they will send the team."
In order to examine issues pertaining to fostering closer volleyball-related relations between the Central Asian federations, the PVF Chairman visited the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) meeting in Hong Kong.
India's volleyball squad is scheduled to go to Pakistan in May of this year to compete in the Asian Central Zone Volleyball Championship, which will also feature participation from Iran, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Sri Lanka, and Kyrgyzstan.

Formerly IG Police Who became PVF Chairman, Chaudhry Muhammad Yaqoob stated that the six teams will be arriving in the country on the 9th of May while the grand finale of the competition will be place on the 17th of May.
In addition, Pakistan has been invited to participate in the Asian Challenge Cup, which is scheduled to take place in Bahrain in the first week of July. Behind the scenes, the Volleyball Pro League is also being planned; the federation hopes to launch the league in September or October.
Regarding the training camp, the head of PVF reiterated, "Inshallah, we will hold the Pro Volleyball League in September and October. Yes, we are to hold it at whatever cost. We are working on it." The camp will take place a few weeks before to the Asian Central Zone Volleyball Championship.
