MULTAN - In the ninth Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9 encounter at the scenic Multan Cricket Stadium on Friday evening, Peshawar Zalmi set a formidable 180-run goal for Multan Sultans.

Despite losing Saim Ayub during the powerplay, Zalmi's batsmen managed to score runs at a respectable rate after winning the toss and choosing to bat first. Despite the fact that no one reached a half century, Zalmi scored a respectable 179/8 in the 20 overs that were allowed thanks to significant contributions from each batsman. With 37 runs, Haseebullah Khan led all scorers, followed by captain Babar Azam with 31. Asif Ali scored 13 runs, Paul Walter scored 16, Mohammad Haris scored 19, and Rovman Powell scored 23.
