The fast bowler for the Karachi Kings, Mir Hamza, stood up for Shan Masood after he attacked Shadab Khan, the captain of Islamabad United, on the field.

In response to a question regarding captain Shan Masood losing his cool with Shadab Khan, Hamza said, "Aggression is part of the game." Things can get heated during a pivotal moment in a game that needs to be won, but that is the allure of cricket. Even I became aggressive in the last moments of today's contest.

Although Shan [Masood] is naturally cool and collected, a captain must be aggressive when playing. If the captain is brash, the team will also play attacking style.

At the press conference held following the game, Hamza stated that KK's goal is to win the next two games in order to advance to the PSL 9 Playoffs.

"Right now, we are not thinking about other teams. Our next goal is to win the games we still have left."

The Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium's ground, which is acting differently from PSL 8, was clarified by the left-arm bowler.

"This time, Pindi Pitch is acting differently. We anticipated high-scoring games similar to the 200–220 run chased last year. The ground is damp, though, and it helps bowlers."
